SpaceX Falcon 9 Blew Up! With Facebook’s Satellite Payload

Facebook aims to bring the internet to the remote places in the world through Internet.org, it plans to do that by sending a Satellite into orbit. Using $95 Million of their budget the Social Media company was able to build a satellite which was scheduled to go into orbit on September 3. Unfortunately, that effort will have to be delayed if not totally canceled because SpaceX Falcon 9 met a tragic end when it exploded at Cape Canaveral.

The SpaceX Falcon 9 is carrying the Amos-6 communication satellite. Where one of the satellite’s function is to beam broadband connectivity.
