TikTok, a video-sharing social networking service owned by Chinese company ByteDance, has reportedly started a new Q&A feature which enables creators to hassle-free host a question-and-answer session.
The new Q&A feature is currently only available to select creators. And Matt Navarra, a social media consultant, is among the first individuals to spot the latest feature. Navarra shared some screenshots on his Twitter account, showing what the feature looks like.
The social media consultant explained that the new feature will allow an account’s followers to drop some questions which can be answered by the owner of the TikTok account via video or livestream (TikTok LIVE).
Moreover, Navarra also presented where to locate the TikTok Q&A button in a video’s comments section. See his tweets below to catch a glimpse of the brand new feature.
TikTok has recently confirmed to TechCrunch that the new Q&A feature is only being made available to creators with public Creator Accounts which have over 10,000 followers during the test.
The video-sharing social networking service also disclosed to the online news outlet that currently, the Q&A feature is being tested globally, and that it is aimed to be rolled out to more users with Creator Accounts in the coming weeks.
