The Console Wars are Over: The KFC Gaming Console is Real?!

This year is filled with several, unexpected twists and turns, and although it now has only a few days left in the calendar, it sure is not done yet unleashing some shocking news. So what it is this time?

Well, it is the unveiling of the brand new gaming console, the KFConsole, which might just put an end to the console wars here and there. What sets this gaming console apart from the rest? Well it is said to be the first in the world to have a built-in “chicken chamber”!

Can you imagine that?

KFConsole was first introduced by the fast-food restaurant chain KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) on June 2020, through a Tweet made by the official KFC Gaming account; following the reveal of one of the most anticipated consoles of the year, the PlayStation 5.

Back in June, KFC Gaming revealed that the tech was “equipped with a chicken chamber” featuring a grill. And at the time, it all seem to be a fun prank, because who grills chicken in a gaming console anyway? But now that the year is about to end, KFC has unveiled further details about the odd tech, claiming that the KFConsole is actually does exist.

Just recently, Mark Walton, the PR of Intel, announced that the KFConsole is real. “Yes it’s real,” he straightforwardly stated in a tweet. However, instead of it having a grill or a deep fryer, it rather keeps precooked KFC chicken warm.

Built and designed by the Cooler Master Technology Inc., a PC manufacturer; the KFConsole features a custom Cooler Master NC100 chassis and an Intel Nuc 9 minicomputer.

“Forged from the fires of the KFC ovens and built by Cooler Master from the ground up, there has never been a tastier way to experience the latest titles in stunning 4k, 240fps… Never risk letting your chicken go cold again thanks to the patented Chicken Chamber.”

As for the console’s so-called chicken chamber, Cooler Master explained that it utilizes the natural heat and airflow system so you can “focus on your gameplay and enjoy hot, crispy chicken between rounds.”
