OPPO Placed Top as the most sold Smartphone in the Philippines in Q4 2019

On the twitter post of the leading global technology market analyst firm Canalys, the top smartphone vendor in the fourth quarter of 2019 in the Philippine is OPPO.

The top 5 smartphone vendors in the Philippines are OPPO, VIVO, Samsung, Realme, and Huawei. OPPO in the number one spot has a 44% year-over-year growth with a unit share of 27%. While Huawei got fifth place with a total number unit share of 8% and 3% of year-over-year growth. According to the post of Canalys on twitter, Huawei growth increased through the help of its GMS-supported Nova 5T.

For the last quarter of 2019, VIVO was able to get second place with 159% year-over-year growth and a unit share of 25% which is only 2% less than the unit share of OPPO. Despite having a negative year-over-year growth of 32%, Samsung is in the third spot with a unit share of 9%. And, Realme with the highest year-over-year growth of 709% this year obtained a market share of 9%.
