Details about the most anticipated gaming console of the year was finally officially revealed! That’s right, on September 16, 2020, Jim Ryan, the President & CEO, Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled the price, the specifications, the new games, and the global launch of the PlayStation 5 (PS5)!
PlayStation 5, the next generation of play, features unique capabilities such as lightning-fast loading, heightened immersion, and a whole new generation of experiences and adventures.
PS5 Official Launch
The PlayStation 5 will be available in in seven key markets starting November 12, 2020 and it will be available for the rest of the world by November 19, 2020.

PS5 Launch: November 12
Here are the seven key markets wherein the PS5 will become available as early as the 12th of November this year:

The PS5 will continue to roll out on the 19th of November this year for the rest of the word, including the following areas:

Furthermore, at launch, the PlayStation 5 console also comes in two different options, the PS5 Digital Edition for gamers who want a digital-only experience and the PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive for those prefer a disc-based gaming.
