Zenfone5 Captures the beauty of Pixel-Perfect Boracay Island

As ASUS continue to make awesome innovations, they also remain on top in terms of mobile photography. And made possible with their flagship series, the Zenfone, ASUS has already held 20 photography junkets and photo walks.

Through the junkets, they were able to showcase Zenfone 5’s awesome camera performance which also called for a recognition by DXOMark.

The birth of PixelMaster Master Class

ASUS believed that this awesome performance of such mid-range smartphone should further be showcased so they created the concept of PixelMaster Master Class – a series of photography workshops headed by eight masters of different Photography disciplines.

Masterclass goes to Boracay

The Pixel-Perfect Paradise Island, Boracay, just opened to public recently after being rehabilitated months ago to bring back its beauty. And being a world-class and sought-after destination, ASUS thought it was perfect to bring the Master Class there.

So together with media and ZenFans, the PixelMasters were brought to the world-class destination for a series of workshops to help end-users maximize the use of their Zenfones and enhance their photography skills.

The PixelMasters who joined the event were Arlene Donaire and Nicco Valenzuela (Travel Photographers), Jay Ermitano and Jasper Tejano (Street Photographers), Ken Go (Portrait Photographer), Emir Bautista (Wedding Photographer), Dail Deri (Conceptual Photographer), and Ricky Ladia (Commercial Photographer).

ASUS Philippines Country Product Manager for Smartphones Lenny Lin said, “Our flagship ZenFone 5 Series is a testament of our commitment to push the envelope of mobile photography, not just stopping at hardware and software but also in being the only brand to hold regular events meant to help end-users level up their mobile photography skills. We’ve seen the positive response with our efforts, both in interest and the impact of these workshops on the ZenFans themselves; hence, we will continue to explore more avenues where ASUS can reach ZenFans and further add value on their ownership of ZenFones.”

ASUS for Sustainability

The PixelMaster Master Classes are not just about capturing the beauty of destinations that are being visited. ASUS always make sure to do something beneficial to the community whenever they visit a place just like the Operation Smile done in Ilo-ilo.

And this time, participants of the Master Class in Boracay were able to experience first-hand, planting mangrove trees. The tree-planting activity was done to help promote sustainable tourism in Boracay.

“The whole country has been excitedly awaiting the re-opening of Boracay Island since the announcement of its rehabilitation. We are proud and in awe to be among the first to experience the reinvigorated paradise and capture that through the lens of the ZenFone 5 series. We at ASUS ZenFone are one with the local government in pushing for sustainable tourism in the island, and will continue to explore ways on how we can help maintain the pristine state of the island whenever we visit,” said ASUS Philippines Systems Group Country Manager George Su.
