Tesla Delivered Nearly Half a Million Cars in 2020

Tesla has announced that they have delivered almost 500, 000 cars last year.

In a twitter post of Tesla, the company wrote “In 2020, we produced and delivered half a million cars. Huge thanks to all those who made this possible.”

Through a tweet, CEO Elon Musk said that he’s proud of the Tesla team for achieving a major milestone.

“So proud of the Tesla team for achieving this major milestone! At the start of Tesla, I thought we had (optimistically) a 10% chance of surviving at all.”

Here are the data of Tesla’s production and deliveries in the fourth quarter and for the whole year of 2020.

A total of 180,570 cars were delivered by Tesla in the fourth quarter of 2020.

And, Tesla has delivered a total of 499,550 cars and produced 509,737 cars last year.

“Thank you to all of our customers, employees, suppliers, shareholders and supporters who helped us achieve another great year, ” Tesla added.
