Recently, a new Pokemon game called the Pokemon Cafe Mix has been released by The Pokemon Company for mobile devices and Nintendo Switch, and following such an exciting release is a fresh announcement of another upcoming Pokemon game.
This upcoming game is called the Pokémon UNITE which is a strategic team battle game being developed jointly by The Pokémon Company and Tencent Games’ TiMi Studios.
Tencent Games is known for its hit games PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile Lite, Chess Rush, and more; while TiMi Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, is known for games such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Arena of Valor, Honor of Kings, and many others.
According to the announcement made by The Pokemon Company on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, Pokémon UNITE is planned to be a cross-platform game for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, both Android and iOS.
Another thing to expect from this under development game is that, just like the new game Pokemon Cafe Mix, it will be free-to-start.
What to Expect from Pokémon UNITE

According to the developers of the game, in the Pokémon UNITE, players will be facing off against each other in 5-on-5 team battles.
Since Pokémon UNITE introduces a new kind of Pokémon battle which requires teamwork and strategy, here’s a quick guide on what players must do during battles:
- Cooperate with teammates to catch wild Pokémon
- Level up and evolve their own Pokémon
- Defeat opponents’ Pokémon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time

Pokémon UNITE has a Familiar Gameplay
Based on the Pokémon UNITE’s video, do you happen to find its gameplay somehow familiar? If you do, maybe you’ve already played other games games of almost the same gameplay before such as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
But since the game has not been released yet, there’s no actual way of comparing the game yet to other existing games of the same genre.
