Elon Musk, the man behind Tesla and SpaceX, had been active in his official Twitter account lately, updating his followers about what he’s been up to and replying to some people who are trying to get his attention. But just a few days ago, he revealed, through a tweet, that he is taking a break from the platform.
“Off Twitter for a while,” Elon Musk simply wrote without dropping any explanation for why he’s taking the hiatus. There is also no clue on when he will be back on Twitter but as of today, his announcement of his hiatus remains the latest tweet on his account.
Upon seeing the tweet, some of Musk’s Twitter followers have bared guesses on why Musk has decided to take a break from the platform. “He’s probably on vacation on someone’s island,” one stated. Then there’s also one, speculating via a meme, that Elon is an alien trying to get home to his planet. Jokes aside, Elon Musk seems like a very, very busy person, so he might just really needed the break.
