Earlier this month, Billionaire Elon Musk asked his followers on Twitter on how to best give away his money. “…critical feedback is always super appreciated, as well as ways to donate money…” he stated.
Elon Musk Unveils Plans to Donate $100M
Furthermore, just recently, Elon Musk, has announced through his official Twitter account that he will be donating $100M towards a prize for best carbon capture technology.
Other than the very limited details he made public via his tweet, Musk did not provide any more information except for an accompanying tweet which simply reads “Details next week“.
TechCrunch, however, has claimed to have gathered more details, revealing that the plan will be connected to Xprize Foundation, a non-profit organization that host competitions aimed at encouraging technological development and innovation.
According to the online news outlet, a person familiar with the plan has told them about this additional information.
