Startup Park The Home For Innovation at CES Asia 2016

Something exciting is going to be added in the upcoming CES Asia 2016! Staying true to its aim to highlight not only global brands but also Startups, CES Asia 2016 will be showcasing the Startup Park! The Startup Park was modeled after CES’ Eureka Park and it is going to be a new exhibit area for Startups for CES 2016. It is expected that CES 2016 will be bigger as compared last year because of the size of this years exhibit area which is twice as large compared to CES 2015.

Startup Park at CES 2016

The Startup park will be the home of Startups during the CES Asia 2016. It is going to be the exhibit area for startups who are seeking exposure of their product or services in the rapidly growing Asian marketplace. The Startup Park will help curated startups to connect with manufacturers, suppliers, media and even investors.

The Startup Park will be located at the SNIEC Hall N4. The exhibiting parameters are designed to make it affordable and easy for startups. For Startups who are interested in participating in this event they must meet the following criteria:

  • Technology displayed must be applicable to consumer technology
  • Technology cannot already be commercially available
  • The technology must be demonstrable as a prototype or software mockup; no paper/concept entries.
  • Participation is not limited to researchers and startups. CES Asia exhibiting organizations may have other commercial technologies as long as the technology shown in Startup Park meets these criteria.
  • Must be a first-time exhibitor at CES Asia

An independent audit of the inaugural CES Asia in May, 2015 shows 28,682 attendees and 212 exhibiting companies. An anticipated 350 exhibiting companies and more th an 30,000 attendees are expected for CES Asia 2016. To date, more than 150 exhibitors from 13 countries are confirmed. Notable exhibitors include 3M, Audio-Technica, Cobra Electronics, Continental Automotive Holding, Gibson Brands, IBM, Monster, NavInfo, Pioneer, Qihoo 360 Technology, SAIC-GM/OnStar, Scosche, Speck, Twitter and Voxx.
